Hace años, el MoMA tenía una opción para crear colecciones propias con las obras del museo. Ahí se cruzaban mis ganas de ver arte y las limitaciones de no tener dinero para viajar, así que pasaba tiempo navegando por su colección. Recuerdo que la primera obra que busqué fue Untitled de Nam June Paik. Con el tiempo, noté que muchas de las piezas que me gustaban llevaban ese mismo título, Untitled, lo que me llevó a trasladar mi colección del MoMA a un formato físico que pudiera poseer.
Logré hacer 16 dibujos, aunque el proyecto original contemplaba 60. No lo completé porque me quedé sin papel y sin bolígrafos.
Years ago, MoMA had an option to create personal collections with artworks from the museum. This intersected my desire to see art with the limitations of not having money to travel, so I spent time browsing their collection. I remember the first piece I searched for was Untitled by Nam June Paik. Over time, I noticed that many of the pieces I liked shared the same title, Untitled, which led me to transfer my MoMA collection into a physical format I could own.
I managed to create 16 drawings, although the original project aimed for 60. I didn’t complete it because I ran out of paper and pens.
On Jun 22, 2015, 4:52 PM, I received this message:

“We are sorry to announce that the My Collection feature of moma.org will be discontinued effective July 7, 2015.
